Classification Engine

Each incoming item is analyzed for:

• Event type (military, political, diplomatic, economic, humanitarian)
• Severity level (critical, high, medium, low)
• Regional relevance and affected areas
• Signal score — likelihood of being genuine intelligence vs. noise

Noise Filtering

The system automatically filters:

• Advertisements and promotional content
• Messages under 30 characters
• Near-duplicate reports (SimHash deduplication)
• Items scoring below signal threshold

Predictive Modeling

For high-signal events, the AI generates:

• Escalation risk assessment (low/medium/high/critical)
• Key actor identification
• Probability-weighted outcome predictions
